Tenho pena...

Mimos

?

O Amor provoca sentimentos;
Os sentimentos provocam a necessidade do outro;
A necessidade...provoca desilusões.

As desilusões causam tristeza.

Estou triste.

Vows for The Wedding that Never Was

What I wish, is for all your kisses to be mine.
I wish to have your arms around me, late at night.
When you are happy, I wish to hear your laughter;
and when you are sad, I wish to share your pain.
When you are in trouble, I wish to be the one to rescue you;
and in exchange, when I am tired, it will be on your shoulder
that I will lean and rest.

If one day you can't see, I wish to be your eyes;
and in the language we created, I will tell you all the wonders,
and the colours, and the shapes, and you will see through me.
And if one day I can't hear, I will not need to hear you speak.
I will only have to look into your eyes.
I want to see you draw your first morning breath,
and the last one, at night, before you go to rest.
When you are ill, I'll take care of you.
When you are in doubt, I will help you through.

I wish to feel the pride of walking with you by the hand.
I wish to feel the pride of knowing you are my man.
I wish that never another day of my life goes by without a kiss from your lips.
I wish that never another day of my life goes by without looking into your eyes.
I wish my children look like you - and I never wished for children, before.

I wish I am the wine that calms your thirst;
I wish I am the hand that lies in yours;I
wish I am the voice whispering in your ear, at night, that calms your fears.
I love you, with all my being, and all my might, and all the force in the Universe.

My soul loves your soul;
my mind loves your mind;
my Heart loves your Heart.

(Porto, 25 de Janeiro de 2006)

'coz everyone should dance to this song at least once in their lives.

For you.... Care to dance?:))

For you
there'll be no crying
For you
the sun will be shining
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right

And the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I feel you, I feel you,
I feel you Like never before

To you, I would give the world
To you, I'd never be cold
'Cause I feel that when I'm with you
It's alright, I know it's right
And the songbirds keep singing
Like they know the score
And I feel you, I feel you, I feel you
Like never before
Like never before;
like never before.

(David Fonseca)
Quando dormes, e te esqueces...
o que vês? Tu, quem és?
Quando eu...voltar
O que vais dizer?
Vou sentar, no meu lugar...

Adeus...!
Não afastes os teus olhos dos meus
Isolar pra sempre este tempo
É tudo o que tenho pra dar...!

Quando acordas, por quem chamas tu?
Vou esperar, eu vou ficar..!
Nos teus braços, eu vou conseguir fixar
O teu ar, a tua surpresa...
Adeus...!
Não afastes os teus braços dos meus
Vou ficar pra sempre neste tempo
Eu vou, vou conseguir parar
Vou conseguir parar, parar, parar....

Hold Still

A lindíssima música de David Fonseca

In this little town,cars they don't slow down
The lonely people here
They throw lonely stares,Into their lonely hearts
I watch the traffic lights,I drift on Christmas nights
I wanna set it straight,I wanna make it right
But girl you're so far away
Oh, hold still for a moment and I'll find youI
'm so close, I'm just a small step behind you, girl
And I could hold you if you just stood still
I jaywalk through this town
I drop leaves on the ground
But lonely people here,Just gaze their eyes on air
And miss the autumn roarI
roam through traffic lights,I fade through Christmas nights
I wanna set it straight,I wanna make it right
But man you're so far away
Oh, I'll hold still for a moment so you'll find me
You're so close, I can feel you all around me, boy
I know you're somewhere out there
I know you're somewhere out there
Oh, hold still for a moment and I'll find you
You're so close, I can feel you all around me
And I could hold you if you just stood still
Oh, I'll hold still for a moment so you'll find me
I'm so close, I'm just a small step behind you
I know you're somewhere out there
I know you're somewhere out there
I know you're somewhere out there

Do que eu sou agora, Mas ainda sei me virar

When it's dark, And no one hears you
When the night comes, And you can finally cry
There's a light in the tunnel Of the Desperate ones
There's a pier in the harbour, For those who need to arrive
I'm in the Lighthouse of those who drowned
Please, don't be long
A long night, for a short life
But I don't care anymore, If only I can help you
There are so many scars, They're already part
Of what I am now, But I can still overcome
I'm in the Lighthouse of those who drowned
I'm waiting for you, Please, don't be long...
A long night, For a short life
But I don't care anymore, if only I can help you
I'm in the Lighthouse Of those who drowned
I'm waiting for you...

Hoje em dia...

Fazemos roupas que não usamos mais que uma estação;
Fazemos carros que não usamos mais que cinco anos;
Fazemos casas que não resistem aos séculos;

Nowadays:

We make clothing to last a season;
We build cars to last five years;
We build houses that won't last a century:

Can we build feelings that last a lifetime?

We know it is Love when we are happy just because The person is happy - even if that happinness does not include us.

Behind the bars that locked away so many spirits, rests some beauty lost between leaves and trees (Conde Ferreira Hospital).

Valeu a intenção...

It was just this afternoon that 4 young workers from Porto turned into real life heroes.Alexandre, Sandra and Antonio (*) were leaving work for lunch when they noticed a youn dog that seemed to be lost.Upon returning from lunch with some extra food for the animal, Antonio noticed there was a telephone number on the outside of the dog's collar.It was from this moment on that the 3 youngsters - who were promptly joined by another colleague, Hugo - risked their physical integrity to return the dog home.For long, agonizing 20 minutes, the young heroes pursued trying to distract the animal in order to read the inscription on the collar; 20 minutes of suspense, during which Antonio and Alexandre came this close to being bitten by the animal who, infuriated, wrongly interpreted their essays to touch the collar.This story had a happy ending - the phone number was retrieved and the animal's owners contacted - and it served to show that in this cold world there are still good hearted people.

(*)-Fictious names were used to protect the privacy of the people involved.

PS- When called upon, the owners indicated the animal wasn't lost; instead, the dog was in the habit of pursueing other dogs near his house, always returning at night for food.... Upon finding this out, the young heroes looked at each other dismally - and some even say that small cartoon like balloons surfaced over their heads, depicting small donkeys. Well, it's all about the purpose, isn't it?
